The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Trading Systems team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high performance, scalable, and reliable trading infrastructure. You will work on critical systems that handle millions of transactions per second, ensuring the stability and efficiency of our global exchange platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable software solutions for our core trading engine.
• Optimize existing systems for latency, throughput, and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, quantitative researchers, and other engineering teams to define and deliver new features.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues efficiently.
• Ensure the security and integrity of our trading platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on high performance, low latency systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or Golang.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Experience with relational and non relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the financial industry, particularly with trading systems, exchanges, or high frequency trading.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.
• Experience with Spring Boot framework.
• Contributions to open source projects.
