Key Competencies You Bring to Applaudo

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Senior-Level Expertise: Proven senior-level experience as a PeopleSoft HCM Consultant, demonstrating strong hands-on technical and functional proficiency.
• Implementation Success: Documented experience with PeopleSoft HCM implementations in complex enterprise environments.
• Module Specialization: Strong functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Payroll, Health & Welfare, and Benefits modules.
• PeopleTools Mastery: Extensive hands-on experience with PeopleTools.
• Automation Prowess: Proven track record in designing and implementing automation within PeopleSoft environments.
• Process Optimization: Ability to assess existing PeopleSoft business processes and pinpoint automation opportunities using native PeopleSoft capabilities.
• Requirements Definition: Experience in defining automation requirements and accurately estimating effort and complexity for various processes.
• Technical Documentation: Superior technical documentation skills, including developing automation plans, process approaches, timelines, and tooling recommendations.
• Governance Experience: Experience preparing robust technical documentation for formal IT governance or technical review processes.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with the capacity to work autonomously in intricate and ambiguous settings.
• Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to articulately present and defend technical recommendations.
• Consulting Experience: Previous experience in consulting, advisory, or client-facing roles.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent English proficiency is required.

Nice to Have Qualifications

• Certifications: PeopleSoft HCM and/or PeopleTools certification.

Your Core Responsibilities at Applaudo

• Process Review: Thoroughly review and analyze existing PeopleSoft HCM business processes.
• Automation Strategy: Identify and recommend effective automation strategies utilizing native PeopleSoft functionality.
• Requirements & Planning: Define comprehensive automation requirements, approaches, dependencies, and assess complexity for HCM processes.
• Detailed Planning: Develop detailed automation plans encompassing scope, approach, timelines, tools, assumptions, and critical implementation considerations.
• Documentation Creation: Produce clear, structured technical documentation to facilitate robust review and decision-making processes.
• Standardization: Establish repeatable documentation and automation planning approaches based on continuous stakeholder feedback.
• Initiative Support: Actively support the planning and prioritization of key automation initiatives.
• Solution Implementation: Assist in the design and implementation of PeopleSoft configurations and custom solutions as implementation activities progress.
• Quality Assurance: Provide support for testing, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and thorough technical validation.
• Collaboration: Engage in close collaboration with technical and business stakeholders to deeply understand their requirements and provide expert recommendations.
