Senior Data Analyst, Trading Asia at Binance

About The Opportunity:

This integral role within the Data Analytics function at Binance directly supports our dynamic Trading Business Unit. You will collaborate closely with trading, operations, and product teams to transform extensive, large-scale data into actionable insights, driving rapid, high-stakes decisions within the fast-paced cryptocurrency market.

Responsibilities

• Engage with all facets of data, from engineering complex pipelines to constructing sophisticated visualizations, developing machine learning models, and designing experiments specifically for the Trading business.
• Perform in-depth analysis and interpretation of massive (petabyte-scale) volumes of transactional, operational, and customer data utilizing both proprietary and open-source data tools, platforms, and advanced analytical toolkits.
• Articulate complex data findings into clear, concise visualizations and practical recommendations for immediate execution by trading teams, operational staff, and executive leadership.
• Operate effectively within a rapidly evolving industry and organizational structure where speed-to-market and agility are critical success factors.

Requirements

• Possess a degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics/Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Sciences.
• Demonstrate at least 3 years of full-time professional experience in a dedicated Analytics or Data Science role.
• Crucially, you must have substantial experience in trading or financial derivatives. This is a hard requirement.
• Exhibit a natural curiosity to identify, thoroughly investigate, and clearly explain trends and patterns discovered in data, coupled with an ability to simplify complex concepts and technical findings into easily understandable language.
• Prior experience in internal or client-facing consulting or business transformation is preferred.
• Show a genuine passion for Emerging Technologies, particularly those related to Blockchain, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.
