Job Description

Tested Recruits is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our remote team. This role is crucial for transforming complex data into actionable insights, driving strategic business decisions, and optimizing operational efficiency. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining robust data solutions, analyzing trends, and presenting findings to stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to present findings effectively to technical and non technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including product, marketing, and engineering, to understand data needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
• Design and implement ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis and generate reports to support strategic initiatives and decision making.
• Identify opportunities for data driven improvements in business processes and product features.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for creating impactful dashboards and reports.
  • Familiarity with statistical software (e.g., R, Python) for advanced analytics.
  • Experience with ETL processes and database management.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking abilities.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, concise insights for various audiences.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Work Ethic: Self motivated, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
• Remote Work: Ability to work effectively in US time zones.
