The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Specialist to join our Regulatory Exam & Audit Issue Management team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing regulatory examinations, internal audits, and external audits pertaining to Binance's compliance programs. You will ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries, track issues, and facilitate remediation efforts to maintain our strong regulatory standing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of regulatory examinations, internal audits, and external audits related to compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors and regulators, facilitating information exchange and interview requests.
• Prepare, review, and submit timely responses to regulatory and audit inquiries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of audit findings, recommendations, and remediation plans.
• Track and monitor the status of all open audit issues and regulatory findings, driving their resolution.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including Legal, Risk, Operations, and Technology, to implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to the enhancement of Binance's compliance framework, policies, and procedures based on audit insights.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of audits, key findings, and remediation progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, audit, risk management, or a related field within the financial services or cryptocurrency industry.
• Demonstrated experience managing regulatory exams or internal/external audits.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance frameworks (AML, KYC, Sanctions), and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, evolving environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team.
• Proficiency in using project management and issue tracking tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, CRCM, CPA, CIA).
• Experience with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency compliance challenges.
