Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, reliable, and secure backend services for Binance's core products.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high quality solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, ensuring high test coverage and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge within the team.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, contributing to a stable and performant system.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development, preferably in a high-traffic, distributed systems environment.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language (e.g., Java, Golang, Python) with excellent understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB).
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with financial systems, trading platforms, or cryptocurrency exchanges is a strong plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global, remote team.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
