Responsibilities

• Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of a robust compliance program in line with local and international regulations.
• Conduct Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews for new and existing clients.
• Monitor transactions and identify suspicious activities, escalating as required.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports to relevant authorities.
• Stay up to date with changes in regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Legal, Risk, and Operations, to ensure compliance adherence.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance matters.
• Participate in internal and external audits and regulatory examinations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within the financial services, fintech, or cryptocurrency industry.
• Strong understanding of AML, KYC, and sanctions regulations (e.g., FATF, OFAC).
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant compliance certifications (e.g., ACAMS, ICA) are a plus.
