The Opportunity: Senior Operations Manager, Tradfi / Equities

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Operations Manager to join our dynamic team, focusing on the intersection of traditional finance (TradFi) and equities within the cryptocurrency landscape. This critical role involves overseeing the operational aspects of our TradFi and equities products, ensuring seamless execution, compliance, and an exceptional user experience. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between traditional financial markets and the innovative world of digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize operational workflows for TradFi and equities products, including trading, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
• Manage day to day operational activities, ensuring high efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including brokers, custodians, and liquidity providers.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing robust controls and reporting mechanisms.
• Lead and mentor a team of operations specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross functionally with product, technology, legal, and compliance teams to launch new features and enhance existing offerings.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation and process enhancements.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in both traditional finance and crypto markets.

Requirements

• Proven Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial operations, with a strong focus on traditional finance (TradFi) and equities markets.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high performing operations teams.
• Deep Knowledge: Expert level understanding of equities trading, settlement, clearing, and reconciliation processes.
• Regulatory Acumen: Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements in global markets.
• Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, with a data driven approach.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly evolving environment, characteristic of the crypto industry.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with financial trading systems and operational platforms.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
