The Opportunity: Internal Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our dynamic and rapidly growing global team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in evaluating the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes across Binance's diverse operations. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the integrity and transparency of a leading organization at the forefront of the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and complete internal audit engagements, including financial, operational, and compliance audits, in accordance with professional standards and the annual audit plan.
  • Assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes across various functions and business units.
  • Identify control deficiencies, risks, and areas for process improvement, developing practical recommendations.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, risks, and recommendations, and communicate these effectively to management.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and ensure timely remediation of identified issues.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging risks within the cryptocurrency and financial technology sectors.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Internal Audit function's methodologies, processes, and tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or CISA are highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in internal audit, public accounting, or a related field, preferably within the financial services or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with audit planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., AML, KYC) is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in audit management software and data analysis tools is a plus.
