Binance is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Engineer to join our global team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our platforms, products, and user assets against evolving cyber threats. We are looking for a proactive and detail oriented individual with a deep understanding of security best practices, vulnerability management, and defensive security strategies within a fast paced, high stakes environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust security measures across Binance's infrastructure and applications.
• Conduct regular security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Stay up to date with the latest security threats, technologies, and trends, continuously enhancing our defensive capabilities.
• Participate in security architecture reviews, providing expert guidance on secure system design.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a dedicated Security Engineering role, preferably within the fintech, blockchain, or high tech industry.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Golang, or C++ for security automation and tool development.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic principles, network security, operating system security (Linux), and web application security (OWASP Top 10).
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with incident response, forensic analysis, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency security best practices is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross functional teams.
