Key Responsibilities for Treasury Asset Management

• Efficiently manage and execute global fiat asset investment activities, utilizing approved traditional finance products.
• Proactively identify optimal investment opportunities for fiat treasury balances, considering liquidity, safety, yield, and duration.
• Continuously monitor and optimize treasury asset allocation across various instruments, including cash, deposits, money market instruments, fixed income products, and other approved TradFi investment vehicles.
• Perform comprehensive market analysis, evaluating macroeconomic trends, interest rate environments, and counterparty conditions to inform sound investment decisions.
• Collaborate closely with internal treasury and finance teams to ensure investment strategies align with liquidity planning, operational funding requirements, and capital management priorities.
• Rigorously assess and manage all investment-related risks, including liquidity risk, market risk, counterparty risk, and concentration risk.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with global banking partners, asset managers, custodians, and other financial counterparties.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of treasury investment frameworks, policies, controls, and robust reporting processes.
• Track portfolio performance meticulously, preparing regular investment reports, insightful analyses, and strategic recommendations for internal stakeholders and management.
• Ensure all investment activities strictly adhere to internal governance standards, compliance requirements, and relevant regulations.
• Partner with legal, compliance, tax, and accounting teams for product review, documentation, and implementation as required.

Essential Requirements and Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a closely related field is required.
• Demonstrated relevant experience in treasury management, cash management, asset investment, portfolio management, or institutional liquidity management.
• A strong understanding of global fiat treasury management principles and traditional financial products.
• Familiarity with a range of financial instruments, including time deposits, money market funds, short-duration fixed income products, government securities, and other low-risk investment vehicles.
• Profound knowledge of liquidity management principles, investment risk assessment methodologies, and counterparty evaluation techniques.
• Proven experience working with global banking partners and diverse financial institutions.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, crucial for evaluating investment opportunities and portfolio performance effectively.
• A solid grasp of treasury controls, governance practices, and regulatory considerations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective cross-functional collaboration with finance, legal, compliance, and operations teams.
• High attention to detail, sound judgment, and a disciplined approach to execution and risk management are paramount.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is essential to facilitate coordination with overseas partners and stakeholders.
