The Opportunity: Senior Backend Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend services that power our global cryptocurrency exchange. What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and deploy robust, high performance, and scalable backend services using Go.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including frontend engineers, product managers, and QA, to deliver exceptional features.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our systems through best practices and continuous improvement.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact.
• Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap of the backend platform.

What You'll Bring (Requirements)

• At least 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in Golang (Go).
• Extensive experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Demonstrable experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, agile environment.

Nice to Haves

• Experience in the blockchain or cryptocurrency industry.
• Familiarity with high frequency trading systems.
• Knowledge of other programming languages like Java or Python.
