The Role: Technical Writer

We are seeking an experienced and talented Technical Writer to join our dynamic product team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for crafting clear, concise, and accurate documentation that enhances the user experience for our SaaS products. You will ensure both our customers and internal teams have access to comprehensive and easy to understand information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a wide range of documentation, including detailed user guides, API documentation, frequently asked questions (FAQs), and help articles.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and customer support teams to deeply understand complex technical concepts and translate them into accessible content for diverse audiences.
• Ensure all documentation remains accurate, up to date, and consistent with SafetyWing's brand voice and established style guidelines.
• Actively contribute to defining and enforcing documentation standards and best practices across the organization.
• Play a key role in the continuous improvement of our knowledge base and internal communication strategies.

A Bit About You

• You have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a dedicated technical writing role, ideally within a SaaS or technology driven company.
• You possess exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills in English.
• You demonstrate a strong ability to grasp complex technical information quickly and present it clearly and concisely to varied audiences.
• You are experienced with various content management systems and modern documentation tools.
• You are proactive, highly organized, and capable of efficiently managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, agile environment.
• You are passionate about creating user friendly, impactful, and high quality content.
