Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high performance, scalable, and reliable backend services for Binance's core platform.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, front end engineers, and other stakeholders to define, implement, and launch new features and products.
• Write clean, efficient, well documented, and testable code.
• Actively participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues promptly to ensure system stability and performance.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in backend software development, preferably in a fast paced, high transaction environment.
• Strong proficiency in one or more modern backend programming languages such as Golang, Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Demonstrated experience with database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) and designing efficient data models.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, or financial services is highly advantageous.
• Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global, remote first environment.
• Proactive attitude, self starter, and eager to learn new technologies.
