Responsibilities of a Data/Java Engineer

• Develop and implement robust backend services specifically for AI Chatbot products.
• Construct large-scale software systems that will significantly impact the daily lives of millions of customers.
• Research, explore, and seamlessly integrate advanced Large Language Model (LLM) applications to continuously enhance chatbot performance and overall user experience.
• Execute underlying infrastructure and architecture upgrades, conduct performance tuning, troubleshoot online incidents efficiently, and perform crucial system refactoring.
• Write exceptionally high-quality, clean, and maintainable code, adhering strictly to engineering best practices.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers in their daily tasks and actively participate in knowledge sharing initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or demonstrate equivalent extensive industry experience.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in a related software development or data engineering field.
• Exceptional core Java programming skills and a strong willingness to engage in hands-on coding are absolutely essential.
• Proven knowledge and practical experience with Python, coupled with familiarity in collaborating effectively with algorithm engineers.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and a strong aptitude for rapidly acquiring new technical knowledge.
• Excellent cross-team communication skills to foster collaborative environments.
• Familiarity with established design patterns and robust system design principles required to address common software programming challenges.
• Bonus: Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Chatbot and Customer Service Bot technologies.
• Bonus: Practical knowledge and experience leveraging Large Language Models (LLM) for applications.
