Key Competencies You Bring to Applaudo

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience is desired.
• You possess 5+ years of experience managing software or digital projects end-to-end, including specific experience with mobile application projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple teams, cross-functional workstreams, and project dependencies effectively.
• Strong experience in managing comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, roadmaps, and critical paths.
• Experience working under Agile, Waterfall, and/or Hybrid methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and proactively manage risks, issues, blockers, and dependencies.
• Strong stakeholder management experience, including collaboration with Directors and C-level executives.
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools for project management, planning, documentation, reporting, or productivity is a nice to have.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A strong results-oriented mindset, ownership, and accountability are essential.
• Experience using Jira and other project management or collaboration tools.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
• Advanced English proficiency is required.

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Lead projects from initiation and planning through execution and successful delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and critical paths.
• Coordinate multiple teams and workstreams, ensuring alignment and effective execution across all project phases.
• Identify and manage cross-team dependencies, risks, blockers, and issues proactively to prevent disruptions.
• Establish clear priorities, ownership, and accountability across all project teams.
• Track project progress diligently and ensure all deliverables remain aligned with established timelines and objectives.
• Facilitate essential project meetings, planning sessions, status reviews, and other ceremonies as required.
• Adapt project management practices effectively across various Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid environments.
• Collaborate seamlessly with Engineering, QA, UX/UI, Product, Business, and other cross-functional teams.
• Manage communication and expectations with Directors, C-level executives, and other key stakeholders.
• Provide concise project status updates, covering progress, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and clear next steps.
• Escalate critical risks and blockers with clear context and actionable recommendations for resolution.
• Drive projects toward measurable outcomes while maintaining alignment across scope, timeline, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
