About the Role: Technical Project Manager, People Operations

Our dynamic People Operations team is expanding, and we are seeking a highly motivated Technical Project Manager. This role is ideal for someone who excels at the intersection of HR systems, cross-functional collaboration, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of HR technology and process projects, ensuring complex initiatives stay on schedule and that all stakeholders receive timely and relevant information.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the comprehensive planning, precise execution, and successful delivery of HR technology projects, including HRIS implementations, system integrations, and process automation.
• Act as the vital link connecting People Operations, Finance, Legal, IT, and external vendors, meticulously translating intricate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain robust project plans, provide consistent status updates, manage risk logs, and facilitate clear stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate closely with the People Operations and Systems team to oversee the configuration, thorough testing, and seamless rollout of new tools and workflows.
• Champion process documentation and drive change management initiatives to guarantee sustainable adoption throughout the organization.
• Proactively identify and address gaps or inefficiencies within current HR operations, proposing innovative solutions that leverage process improvements, automation, and advanced AI technologies.

Qualifications and Experience

• 4-6 years of proven project management experience, with a minimum of 2 years specifically within an HR or People Operations context.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with leading HRIS platforms such as UKG Pro, Workday, or other similar systems (strongly preferred).
• A strong command of various project management frameworks and methodologies.
• Ability to navigate and thrive amidst ambiguity in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling organizational environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical complexities to non-technical audiences without compromising nuance.
• PMP, CAPM, or an equivalent project management certification is a valuable asset.
