Senior Product Builder-Connectors Experience- EMEA at Camunda
Job Description
About Camunda
Camunda provides the enterprise platform for agentic orchestration, helping organizations coordinate AI agents, people, and systems across complex, end-to-end business processes. With integrated governance, auditability, and human oversight, Camunda empowers enterprises to safely scale AI from pilots to production. Trusted globally by over 700 organizations, including 9 of the top 10 US banks, Camunda drives operational efficiency, accelerates time-to-value, and enhances customer experiences. As a fully remote and global company, Camunda is transforming into an AI-first organization, leveraging Agentic AI to automate intelligent processes and elevate human contributions. The company is recognized on GP Bullhound’s Top 100 Next Unicorn list, Great Place to Work certified, a Visionary in Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies, and ranked in Flexa's Most Flexible Companies.
About the Role
Camunda is seeking a Senior Product Builder to innovate how software is created, specifically focusing on the Connectors Experience. This high-ownership role within the Products organization requires a professional who can independently tackle vague problems, define success metrics, and deliver shipped outcomes. The role involves direct collaboration with customers and forward deployed engineers in an AI-first environment. Initially, the focus will be on the web app experience in Hub and Canvas (Web Modeler & Desktop Modeler), with opportunities to contribute across the stack for faster end-to-end product delivery.
What You Will Do
- Discover and clarify significant user problems within the Connectors Experience by collaborating closely with customers, forward deployed engineers, and internal stakeholders.
- Define clear success criteria and scope for features prior to development, rather than merely executing pre-defined specifications.
- Influence product direction through practical judgment, rapid iteration, and a commitment to solving underlying problems over simply fulfilling requests.
- Prototype, build, harden, ship, and iterate on product enhancements across the Connectors Experience, taking full ownership of complex features from start to finish.
- Effectively utilize AI tools to expedite first drafts, implementation steps, iteration, and learning, while consistently maintaining high quality standards.
- Review both AI-generated and peer-produced output for maintainability, architectural compatibility, and user experience quality, and share patterns that elevate the team's overall quality.
- Collaborate with other builders and product strategy counterparts to transform concepts into tangible product deliveries.
- Enhance the speed, quality, and effectiveness of product delivery for the team.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide 3rd level escalation support to ensure system objectives are met.
What You Will Bring to the Role
- Proven experience independently shipping complex products in a software environment, beyond just executing scoped tasks.
- Ability to seamlessly integrate product thinking, user experience design, and hands-on delivery.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous situations, transforming open-ended challenges into concrete next steps.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within a remote-first, pod-based environment, including guiding others in breaking down and sequencing their work.
- A curious mindset regarding users, a drive for fast learning loops, and a bias towards iterative product improvement.
Must Haves
- Hands-on experience independently building and delivering complex software products, not just coordinating roadmaps or requirements.
- Robust AI-native delivery habits: capable of executing AI-assisted workflows for complex features, diagnosing and rectifying issues with AI output setups, not just the results.
- Ability to clearly articulate and shape the intended user experience across an entire feature or surface area, including flow, hierarchy, states, copy, and accessibility expectations, identifying pattern-level UX problems proactively.
- Strong product and customer judgment: adept at converting vague direction into a clear product strategy, defining success criteria, intelligently scoping features, and knowing when sufficient evidence exists to proceed.
- Sound technical judgment within an established architecture: capable of reviewing implementation quality beyond mere functionality, evaluating maintainability, test coverage, and architectural fit, and contributing beyond a pure frontend scope over time.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with workflow software, orchestration, operations tooling, or similar technical product surfaces.
- Experience working within small, highly autonomous teams with broad ownership across discovery, design, and delivery.
- Familiarity with connector building, connector marketplaces, and technical partnerships.
- A track record of independently planning and conducting validation, synthesizing findings into concrete product or user experience changes, and enhancing team practices for lightweight product validation.
- Experience mentoring other builders or raising the quality bar beyond your immediate team.
