You are a highly motivated Mobile Automation Engineer, passionate about creating robust automation solutions to guarantee the quality of mobile applications. You excel at designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional software. Competencies You Bring to Applaudo:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
• Proficiency with JavaScript.
• Experience performing API testing.
• Hands-on experience with WebDriverIO and Appium.
• Experience with tools for mobile-based applications, specifically Appium for iOS and Android platforms, often utilized with Java.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automation pipelines.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Working knowledge of performance testing is a valuable plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills are essential.
• Advanced English proficiency is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test scenarios, along with corresponding test data.
• Identify and implement opportunities to increase automation across various software testing processes.
• Define and implement comprehensive automation strategies in close collaboration with QA Engineers and Development teams.
• Coordinate test plans effectively with Project Managers, Engineering teams, and other key stakeholders.
• Execute automated and manual testing activities, diligently monitoring test progress and quality metrics.
• Generate automated test execution reports and concise testing summaries.
• Actively support the evaluation, implementation, and continuous improvement of automation tools and frameworks.
• Define and monitor critical testing metrics to evaluate software quality and overall testing effectiveness.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure high quality software delivery within Agile environments.
