About the Role: Data Engineer (Contract)

This role thrives in collaborative environments, where you will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to design, migrate, integrate, and optimize data across diverse platforms and technologies. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute robust data migration processes across various data sources and platforms.
• Build, maintain, and continuously optimize efficient ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Transform, cleanse, and standardize data from multiple systems to ensure uniformity.
• Ensure unparalleled data quality, consistency, integrity, and reliability across all environments.
• Seamlessly integrate data with analytical platforms and AI-driven components.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable data models.
• Collaborate effectively with technical teams to drive data modernization initiatives.
• Proactively identify and implement opportunities to enhance data reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to the establishment of robust data governance policies and best practices.
• Support business intelligence and analytics initiatives by providing high-quality, actionable datasets.

Required Competencies & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Demonstrated strong experience in designing and implementing efficient ETL/ELT (Extract, Transform, Load / Extract, Load, Transform) processes.
• Proven experience with data modeling and effective data transformation techniques.
• Experience in integrating and migrating data seamlessly between various database engines and platforms.
• Track record of building and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
• Experience working with sophisticated analytical platforms and handling large datasets.
• Proficiency in Python or a similar programming language for automation and data processing tasks.
• Strong understanding of core data quality, governance, consistency, and integrity principles.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
