Senior UX/UI Designer at Applaudo

About You

Are you a highly skilled Senior UX/UI Designer with a strong passion for crafting intuitive, user centered digital experiences for sophisticated enterprise applications? Do you excel at leading the entire design process, from initial discovery and research to high fidelity designs and seamless engineering handoff, while adeptly balancing user needs, critical business objectives, and technical constraints? If you enjoy collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, and key business stakeholders to transform complex workflows into simple, scalable, and engaging user experiences, this role is for you. We are looking for a proactive, detail oriented professional who is comfortable working autonomously and committed to driving design excellence throughout the product lifecycle. This is an exciting 6 month temporary contract opportunity with the potential for extension.

Competencies You Bring to Applaudo

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 6 years of proven professional experience designing enterprise software, SaaS platforms, or other complex digital products.
• Demonstrated experience independently leading end-to-end UX/UI design projects.
• Strong expertise in information architecture, interaction design, user flows, wireframing, and systems thinking.
• Advanced proficiency with Figma, including extensive experience with prototyping, component libraries, and design systems.
• Experience planning, conducting, and synthesizing user research, usability testing, and workflow analysis.
• Proven ability to collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and various cross functional stakeholders.
• Experience supporting implementation through meticulous engineering handoff and thorough design QA.
• Adept at balancing user needs, core business objectives, and technical constraints effectively.
• Experience designing AI enabled or workflow heavy enterprise applications is a significant plus.
• Understanding of front end implementation principles (HTML/CSS/component based development) is a plus.
• Upper Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1) is required for effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the comprehensive end-to-end UX/UI design process for complex enterprise applications.
• Conduct in depth user research and expertly translate these insights into intuitive, user centered design solutions.
• Design precise user flows, robust information architecture, clear wireframes, high fidelity interfaces, and engaging interactive prototypes.
• Define scalable interaction patterns and develop robust design systems specifically for workflow driven applications.
• Collaborate closely and effectively with Product Managers, Engineers, and business stakeholders throughout every stage of the product lifecycle.
• Deliver detailed engineering handoffs and provide essential support for implementation through rigorous design QA.
• Continuously iterate and refine designs based on valuable user feedback, comprehensive usability testing, and stakeholder input.
• Actively contribute to the design and development of modern, scalable, and innovative AI enabled enterprise experiences.
