Backend Engineer, Trading at Binance

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement infrastructure solutions
• Build large scale software systems
• Upgrade underlying infrastructure and architecture
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshoot online incidents, and refactor systems
• Write high quality, clean, and maintainable code using engineering best practices
• Guide junior engineers in their daily work and share knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience
• 10+ years of software development experience, preferably in backend or distributed systems
• Proficient in core Java and familiar with the Spring framework
• Proficient in MySQL and familiar with at least one NoSQL database
• Proficient in distributed system design and familiar with at least one messaging middleware and its underlying design principles
• Capable of coping with stress and quickly learning new knowledge
• Strong cross team communication skills
