Role overview

We are seeking a Senior Python/Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on Django to support and enhance our internal build and automation system. This product accelerates delivery of security patches as part of CloudLinux's Endless Lifecycle Support (ELS). You will work primarily for internal users, delivering real value to engineering teams by owning features end-to-end, from design through deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deliver web applications using Django and related technologies.
• Take technical ownership of applications you create, from architecture to maintenance.
• Implement user interfaces using front-end technologies, particularly Javascript frameworks such as Refine or React.
• Work with Linux-based systems for development and deployment, including container management with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain pipelines for code testing and delivery, and ensure application security and data protection.
• Troubleshoot and debug across the full stack, participate in code reviews, and plan your work proactively.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Python (Django) or full-stack development.
• Proficiency with Django and Python for backend development.
• Strong experience with Linux as a development and deployment environment.
• Experience with front-end technologies like React, Vue.js, or Angular (at least 1 year).
• Proven experience building web applications and scalable systems.
• Hands-on experience with containers such as Docker for development and production.
• Proficiency with Git for version control, including branching and pull requests.
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with background task libraries like Celery, and with task queue systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Experience building CI pipelines with tools like GitLab or Jenkins.
• Strong problem solving, attention to detail, and ability to work with vague requirements.
• Intermediate level of English and strong collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with test automation frameworks.
• Experience with Kubernetes tooling such as Helm charts and GitOps tools like ArgoCD.
