QA Automation Engineer at Applaudo

Competencies and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3 years of hands on experience in QA Automation.
• Demonstrated strong experience in designing and implementing automated testing strategies.
• Proficiency and hands on experience with Playwright.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience in automating REST APIs.
• Experience with testing AI powered applications is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Stagehand, browser use, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, or similar AI technologies is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive automated testing strategies for AI-native applications.
• Build and meticulously maintain both API and UI automation suites to ensure complete coverage.
• Validate AI powered workflows, autonomous agents, and AI assisted user experiences to guarantee functionality and performance.
• Collaborate closely with software developers to identify potential risks and implement quality improvements early in the development lifecycle.
• Continuously improve automation coverage, optimize testing processes, and elevate quality standards across projects.
• Champion QA automation best practices and foster a culture of quality within engineering teams.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the adoption and integration of modern AI assisted testing methodologies.
