About the Role

As a Product Manager for Camunda 8 self-managed service, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for how customers install, configure, and operate Camunda 8 within their own environments. This is a critical role within the organization, directly impacting our customers' experience and the company’s strategic direction. Your responsibilities will encompass Kubernetes/Helm deployments, Container services, bare-metal installations, air-gapped environments, on-premises requirements, and complex enterprise-grade configuration scenarios. You will collaborate extensively across engineering, product marketing, customer success, and documentation teams to reduce deployment friction and ensure that Camunda’s self-managed product line is enterprise-ready, easy to adopt, and scalable. What You Will Be Doing

• Define a market-driven vision, strategy, and product requirements specifically focused on improving the Camunda product portfolio.
• Manage community, customer, partner, and internal feedback with a strong emphasis on successfully driving innovation to enhance our customers' experience with Camunda’s self-managed service.
• Rigorously evaluate and prioritize incoming feature requests to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Keep the self-managed team well-equipped to work on the appropriate epics.
• Continuously assess Camunda’s demand, market differentiation, and the competitive landscape, while closely collaborating with our Pre-Sales Engineers, Solution Architects, and other Field teams.

What We Have to Offer

Compensation

We offer competitive, fair, and transparent compensation. Salary ranges are location-based, with Standard and Major markets (global tech hubs) reflecting local competition. The Annual Total Target Cash (base salary + 100% variable target, where applicable) shown below spans from the minimum in a Standard market to the maximum in a Major market. Final offers depend on skills, experience, and location, and we typically hire in the first half of the range to allow room for growth:

• United States: $143,800.00 to $231,900.00
• United Kingdom: £90,300.00 to £148,500.00
• Singapore: S$178,600.00 to S$267,900.00
• Canada: C$152,700.00 to C$251,200.00
