Product Builder at Camunda
Job Description
About Camunda
Camunda is a leading enterprise platform for agentic orchestration, enabling organizations to coordinate AI agents, people, and systems across complex, end-to-end business processes. With built-in governance, auditability, and human oversight, Camunda provides enterprises with the control needed to scale AI from pilots to production safely. Trusted by over 700 organizations worldwide, including 9 of the top 10 US banks, Camunda helps boost operational efficiency, accelerate time-to-value, and deliver superior customer experiences. As a fully remote and global company, Camunda is actively transforming into an AI-first organization, built on its own platform. We leverage Agentic AI to automate, orchestrate intelligent processes, and elevate human contributions across all teams. Recognized on GP Bullhound's Top 100 Next Unicorn list and a Visionary in the 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies, Camunda also ranks 3rd in Flexa's 2026 Most Flexible Companies. We are growing rapidly and seeking top talent to join our team for meaningful work and visible impact.
About the Role
At Camunda, we are revolutionizing how software is built. We are looking for a Product Builder to help shape the future of our 'Operate' product by combining product thinking, user empathy, UX judgment, and hands-on execution. This is a high-ownership role within our Products organization for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, AI-first environment, working directly with customers and forward-deployed engineers. The role will initially focus on the web app experience within 'Operate', with future opportunities to contribute across the full stack, accelerating end-to-end product delivery.
What You Will Do
- Discover and clarify meaningful user problems in 'Operate' by collaborating closely with customers, forward-deployed engineers, and internal stakeholders.
- Shape product direction through practical judgment, rapid iteration, and a strong focus on solving underlying problems rather than just implementing requests.
- Prototype, build, harden, ship, and iterate on product improvements across the 'Operate' experience.
- Effectively use AI tools to accelerate first drafts, implementation steps, iteration, and learning while maintaining a high quality bar.
- Work closely with other builders and product strategy counterparts to translate ideas into shipped outcomes.
- Improve the speed, quality, and effectiveness of how the pod delivers product end-to-end.
What You Will Bring to the Role
- Experience shipping product directly in a software environment.
- Ability to work fluidly across product thinking, user experience, and hands-on delivery.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and transforming open-ended problems into practical next steps.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in a remote-first, pod-based environment.
- Curiosity about users, a dedication to fast learning loops, and a bias toward improving the product through iteration.
Must Haves
- Hands-on experience building and shipping product in a software context, not solely coordinating roadmaps or requirements.
- Strong AI-native delivery habits: proficient in using AI tools for first drafts, implementation steps, and iteration, while diligently reviewing and improving output.
- Ability to clearly describe and shape the intended user experience, including flow, hierarchy, states, copy, and accessibility expectations.
- Strong product and customer judgment: capable of understanding the user problem behind a request, utilizing lightweight evidence and customer feedback, and making pragmatic decisions that create broader product value.
- Sound technical judgment within an established architecture, including the ability to test what was built, trace issues, understand frontend/backend boundaries, and contribute beyond a pure frontend scope over time.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with workflow software, orchestration, operations tooling, or similarly technical product surfaces.
- Experience working in small, high-autonomy pods with broad ownership across discovery, design, and delivery.
- Familiarity with process monitoring, incident handling, or operational user experiences.
- Ability to capture validation learnings clearly, distinguish signal from noise, and help improve lightweight product validation practices.
Compensation

The Annual Total Target Cash (base salary + 100% variable target, where applicable) shown below spans from the minimum in a Standard market to the maximum in a Major market.
