Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with team members, including Developers, Product Managers, and Partners, to develop, test, and deliver high-quality software products.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Prevent, collect, analyze, and meticulously track product defects.
• Design, develop, and execute robust automation scripts.
• Conduct hands-on manual investigation and reproduction of functional backend (Java) software issues.
• Perform root cause analysis for existing test script failures.
• Identify current test script deficiencies and propose candidates for additional scripted coverage.
• Execute investigatory testing of unreleased features, including defining requirements, behavior, and impact.
• Document and design candidate test scenarios based on findings.

Required Qualifications

• At least 7-8 years of experience in software testing methodologies, with strong expertise in Automation (a must-have) and general manual testing.
• Proven ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Strong capability to manage backend services, including APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Linux and database operations, including MySQL, SQLServer, and Oracle.
• Experience with test environment construction using CI/CD pipelines and Spring Boot.
• Excellent programming skills, with mastery in Java coding (a must-have).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development process and utilizing collaboration tools like Jira, Trello, and Slack.
• Exceptional interpersonal, consultative, and communication skills.
• A self-managed, proactive work style, capable of working independently within a team-centric environment.
