About the Role
Camunda is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate FP&A function. In this role, you will assist with Business Partnership, Forecasting, and Reporting. You will be an integral part of a global Finance team, reporting directly to the Manager, Corporate FP&A, and will play a crucial role in providing insights that inform decision-making across the entire company.
What You Will Do
Planning and Financial Analysis
- Contribute to annual planning, long-term planning, rolling forecasts, and monthly/quarterly variance analyses.
- Develop driver-based models to forecast operating expenses and headcount, offering actionable insights to leadership.
Business Partnership
- Collaborate with FP&A Managers and Department leaders on business strategy, spending initiatives, and investment trade-offs.
- Provide ad hoc analysis to support critical decisions regarding hiring, vendor spend, and other functional priorities.
Data Analysis
- Generate KPI reporting and identify root cause trends in financial and operational metrics.
- Prepare executive-ready analysis and commentary for variance reviews, Key Reviews, and board-level materials.
Communication & Influence
- Produce high-quality reporting packages for FP&A Management, functional leaders, and executive stakeholders.
- Translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for non-financial audiences.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of demonstrated senior-level experience in FP&A, Accounting, or Investment Banking.
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Excel, with the ability to manage and analyze large datasets.
- Experience supporting forecast/budget cycles and preparing leadership-level financial reporting.
- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of projects, and operate iteratively.
- Understanding of FP&A technology systems, including Netsuite, Workday, Adaptive, and other FP&A related software (including AI Systems).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience at a SaaS or subscription-based company, with working knowledge of metrics such as ARR, NRR/GRR, CAC, and churn.
- Experience preparing board or investor-level reporting packages.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) integrated into finance workflows, beyond just familiarity.

Compensation
Camunda provides competitive, fair, and transparent compensation. Salary ranges are location-based, with Standard and Major markets (global tech hubs) reflecting local competition. The Annual Total Target Cash (base salary + 100% variable target, if applicable) ranges from the minimum in a Standard market to the maximum in a Major market. Final offers are determined by skills, experience, and location, with hiring typically occurring in the first half of the range to allow for growth:
- United States: $124,600.00 to $200,900.00
- United Kingdom: ยฃ78,200.00 to ยฃ128,700.00
- Singapore: S$154,700.00 to S$232,100.00
- Canada: C$132,300.00 to C$217,600.00
