Role overview

We are hiring a Product Designer on the Social team to design delightful, engaging social experiences that help players connect, build relationships, and feel part of a global community. You will design polished, high-quality interfaces and interactions across web and mobile, working closely with Product Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, Copywriters, and other stakeholders.

What you will do

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver effective product experiences.
  • Design polished UI and interactive experiences for Home, Profile, Friends, Chat, Leaderboards, and related surfaces.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity visual designs to communicate design intent and enable engineering delivery.
  • Iterate on prototypes and conduct usability testing to validate design decisions and measure impact.
  • Own projects from concept through implementation and ensure design-to-code alignment during execution.
  • Contribute to and evolve the design system to keep experiences consistent and scalable.
  • Provide constructive feedback and help uplift the craft of other designers on the team.

Preferred skills and experience

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Product Designer on consumer-facing products or games.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating interface and user experience design, particularly social features and interactive UI work.
  • Mastery of UI fundamentals including typography, color, layout, visual hierarchy, and interactivity.
  • Experience designing responsive interfaces for web and mobile and working with a design system.
  • Familiarity with frontend implementation concerns and how designs translate into code.
  • Experience using AI-assisted design tools is a plus, and familiarity with prototyping and motion tools is helpful.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working in a fully distributed team.

Nice to have

  • Experience designing social features for mobile games or community products.
  • Design engineering or frontend development experience for web, iOS, or Android.
  • Advanced illustration or lightweight 3D micro-animation skills.

This is a full-time, fully remote position. The role is open to applicants who can legally work in the United States. You will work asynchronously with a global team and may participate in cross-timezone meetings or events.
