Responsibilities

• Lead the product design and iteration of Binance's payment middle platform, order system, and clearing module, specifically focusing on Europe and Latin America. You will be the primary owner of the company's core payment infrastructure product line.
• Drive the product development roadmap and execution for the global fiat payment platform, with an emphasis on backend capabilities.
• Design the complete lifecycle management system for orders, including creation, status transitions, timeout handling, and reconciliation closed loop.
• Develop the clearing system, encompassing T+0/T+1 settlement schemes, multi-currency reconciliation rules, error handling, and fund verification processes.
• Formulate integration strategies for global payment channels, such as PSPs, bank rails, and local payment methods, ensuring scalable and standardized integration frameworks.
• Build and optimize critical system modules, including transaction lifecycle management, success rate optimization, latency reduction, and robust failure handling.
• Collaborate with engineering, risk, compliance, and finance teams to design resilient systems for settlement, reconciliation, and fund flow management.
• Drive platform-level enhancements to support global scalability, including multi-region architecture, localization frameworks, and system abstraction.
• Define and continuously monitor key system metrics (e.g., success rate, latency, reliability), using data and experimentation to drive ongoing optimization.
• Work closely with internal product teams (e.g., wallet, account, growth infrastructure) to ensure seamless integration of payment capabilities across the Binance ecosystem.
• Act as a strong individual contributor, proactively identifying system gaps and driving end-to-end execution in a complex and dynamic environment.

Requirements

• 6-10+ years of product management experience, ideally within payments, fintech, or platform/infrastructure product domains.
• Demonstrated strong experience with payment systems such as payment orchestration, transaction platforms, or cashier/back end payment systems.
• Deep understanding of the payment lifecycle, including routing, retries, success rate optimization, and effective failure handling.
• Familiarity with backend system design and APIs, with comfort in collaborating closely with engineering teams on system architecture.
• Strong analytical and data driven mindset, with proven experience using metrics to guide product decisions.
• Ability to manage complex, cross functional projects in a global or multi-region setting.
• Possess strong ownership, structured thinking, and the capability to operate independently in a fast paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with global payment methods and bank rails (e.g., ACH, SEPA, FPS, PIX, UPI) or integrating with large-scale Payment Service Providers (PSPs).
• Understanding of settlement, reconciliation, ledger systems, or fund flow design principles.
• Familiarity with settlement models (gross/net), T+N clearing cycles, and foreign exchange processing logic.
• Experience in transaction platforms, wallet systems, or payment infrastructure development.
• Exposure to Web3 / crypto / exchange products, or a strong interest in the space.
• Experience working on high-throughput, high-reliability backend systems.
