The Opportunity: Commercial Account Executive

Supabase is seeking a creative and driven Commercial Account Executive to expand its customer base of developer-first startups. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic startup environments, excel in technical sales cycles, and enjoy collaborating with founders and builders using open source technologies. You will be instrumental in managing the full sales cycle, collaborating cross-functionally for seamless onboarding, and shaping the future of modern sales at Supabase.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial lead generation to successful deal closure.
• Conduct thorough technical discovery sessions and align solutions with business outcomes.
• Partner effectively with Sales Engineers and Product teams to showcase product capabilities through demonstrations.
• Educate prospective customers on the value and integration of Supabase within their existing technology stacks.
• Actively build sales pipeline and consistently achieve challenging revenue targets.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 2-5 years of proven experience in a similar technical sales capacity.
• Strong foundational understanding of developer workflows or infrastructure products.
• Demonstrated ability to execute a creative and value driven sales process.
• Comfortable and adept at engaging with founders, engineers, and other technical decision makers.
• A proactive self starter who excels in fast paced, often ambiguous, startup environments.
