Senior Product Manager, International Derivatives

Overview

Coinbase Institutional is building industry leading products for institutions to trade, custody, and participate in the global cryptoeconomy. We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead strategy and execution for our international derivatives offerings. You will define product vision, drive delivery from conception to launch, and partner closely with engineering, trading, sales, risk, and operations to deliver institutional grade trading and financing products.

What you’ll be doing

Own product development from conception through launch, and strategically expand core product offerings for international derivatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, trading, sales, risk, prime, and operations to define and steer the product roadmap.
Define and analyze key metrics to guide product development and measure success.
Align teams on a shared vision and drive execution against quarterly and annual goals.
Communicate plans and progress internally to stakeholders and executive leadership, and externally to clients when needed.
Design products with reliability, scalability, and risk controls across credit, market, operational, and compliance dimensions.

What we look for in you

8+ years of product management or trading experience with a track record of leading product strategy and aligning cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical thinking and prioritization skills, with the ability to navigate complex tradeoffs.
Excellent communication and relationship building across Sales, Trading, Risk, Prime, and Operations.
Entrepreneurial, execution-focused mindset that thrives in fast paced environments.
Deep understanding of crypto and traditional finance market structures, enabling design of commercially viable derivatives products.
Demonstrated ability to drive outcomes and align teams around commercial goals with urgency and accountability.

Nice to have

Experience building products for large institutional customers including corporates, asset managers, hedge funds, market makers, and VCs.
Familiarity with a broad range of financial services products such as trading, financing, payments, custody, or capital markets.
Deep expertise in derivatives products from trading or product experience in traditional finance or crypto markets.

Role details

Job ID: GIPM06US. Work model: Coinbase is remote-first but not remote-only. In-person participation at offsites and events is expected and supported. Compensation and eligibility vary by location.

Compensation

Pay Range: $207,485 - $244,100 USD. Full time offers may include target bonus, target equity, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans depending on location.
