Senior Front End Engineer at Binance

About the Role

Binance is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Front End Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the user-facing aspects of our platform, ensuring a seamless and high performance experience for millions of users worldwide. You will work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to bring innovative features and improvements to life, contributing significantly to the evolution of our industry leading cryptocurrency exchange.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high performance front end applications using modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high quality code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
• Implement responsive designs and ensure cross browser compatibility.
• Write clean, well documented, and testable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest front end technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development processes and product.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in front end web development.
• Strong proficiency in Javascript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Extensive experience with modern front end frameworks, particularly React.js.
• Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques and browser rendering behavior.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
• Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and Vite.
• Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git.
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast paced, agile environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.

Bonus Points

• Experience with Typescript.
• Knowledge of server side rendering frameworks (e.g., Next.js).
• Familiarity with Web3 technologies or blockchain concepts.
• Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
