The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Senior Data Scientist / Analyst with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (AI/LLM) to join our growing data team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge AI-driven solutions that enhance our products, optimize operations, and provide deep insights into user behavior and market trends. You will work with vast datasets, leverage advanced analytical techniques, and contribute significantly to our AI strategy, helping to maintain Binance's position at the forefront of the blockchain industry.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy advanced AI/ML models, with a particular emphasis on Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications in the blockchain space.
• Perform in-depth analysis of large-scale, complex datasets to uncover actionable insights, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions.
• Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines and machine learning infrastructure to support new and existing AI solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and research teams to integrate AI-driven features and capabilities into Binance's platform.
• Conduct rigorous A/B testing, evaluate model performance, and iterate on solutions to achieve continuous improvement and maximum impact.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, LLM research, machine learning algorithms, and data science methodologies, applying new techniques where appropriate.
• Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to a culture of innovation and learning within the team.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a Data Scientist, AI Engineer, or similar analytical role, with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions.
• Exceptional programming proficiency in Python, including experience with relevant data science and machine learning libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).
• Demonstrated expertise with Large Language Models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP) techniques, and a solid understanding of generative AI principles.
• Strong SQL skills and extensive experience working with large datasets and big data technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for deploying and managing machine learning models.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong analytical thinking, and a meticulous attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
• Familiarity with the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry is a significant advantage.
