We are seeking an individual who thrives on solving complex problems and excels in live production environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating existing systems, troubleshooting intricate issues, and collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal application stability and performance. You should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining clear communication with both technical teams and client stakeholders.
Competencies You Bring to Applaudo
- Bachelorβs Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong experience with Java / Java EE and Spring / Spring Boot.
- Working knowledge of Angular / AngularJS for UI fixes and enhancements.
- Experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle databases (including queries, debugging, and troubleshooting).
- Familiarity with JBoss or Apache application servers.
- Experience working with AWS (monitoring, deployments, or troubleshooting within cloud environments).
- Knowledge of Linux commands and Bash scripting.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk or New Relic.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
- Exposure to Groovy, PHP, or legacy systems is a plus.
- Advanced English proficiency is required, as you will work directly with US-based clients.
Responsibilities You Will Be Accountable For
- Manage and monitor the support ticket queue and production alerts diligently.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and effectively resolve application incidents.
- Participate actively in operational and control calls with client stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Development, Quality Assurance (QA), and DevOps teams to identify root causes and implement sustainable, long-term fixes.
- Support deployment processes and rigorously validate post-release stability.
- Contribute to performance improvements, automation initiatives, and system optimization efforts.
- Maintain clear, accurate, and comprehensive documentation of issues and their technical resolutions.
