The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Engineer with a strong focus on Automation Backend Testing and Coding to join our dynamic, fully remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest quality and reliability of Binance's backend systems and services. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites, contributing significantly to our continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for complex backend systems and APIs.
• Design, write, and execute automated test cases using various programming languages and testing frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable rapid and reliable deployments.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to understand requirements and ensure testability.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and provide detailed bug reports.
• Monitor and analyze test results, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Continuously improve test automation frameworks, tools, and processes.
• Contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy and best practices at Binance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a strong emphasis on backend testing and automation.
• Excellent coding skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Solid understanding of API testing (REST, GraphQL) and tools (e.g., Postman, JMeter).
• Experience with database testing (SQL, NoSQL databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote, fast paced international environment.
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
