The Opportunity

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Enterprise Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA) Specialist to strengthen our global risk management framework. In this pivotal remote role, you will be instrumental in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across our diverse operations. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the resilience and stability of our pioneering blockchain ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct comprehensive enterprise wide risk assessments, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities to Binance's global operations.
• Develop and implement robust risk assessment methodologies, tools, and reporting mechanisms.
• Collaborate closely with various business units, product teams, and functional departments to gather risk data and insights.
• Analyze complex data sets to pinpoint emerging risks, trends, and areas requiring enhanced control.
• Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for senior management and relevant committees, providing actionable recommendations.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented risk mitigation strategies and contribute to continuous improvement of the ERM framework.
• Stay abreast of regulatory developments, industry best practices, and geopolitical events impacting the crypto and financial sectors.
• Support the development and maintenance of Binance's risk appetite framework and risk policies.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience (typically 3+ years) in enterprise risk management, operational risk, or a related field within financial services, fintech, or technology companies.
• Solid understanding of risk assessment methodologies, quantitative and qualitative risk analysis, and control frameworks.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to financial institutions and cryptocurrency exchanges.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into clear, concise reports.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, global, and remote-first environment.
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
• Experience with data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, is highly advantageous.
