About the KYC Technology Team

The KYC (Know Your Customer) Technology Team at Binance is dedicated to crafting a cutting-edge platform that guarantees a seamless onboarding experience for our users. Our primary objective is to develop a large-scale KYC platform, launch innovative new products, and integrate regional and global compliance vendors effectively. We emphasize the responsible application of AI/ML technologies while diligently adhering to both global and local regulatory standards. Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust services, complete with solid code and comprehensive tests.
• Proactively identify opportunities for performance tuning and efficiently troubleshoot incidents.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for various systems and processes.
• Develop high-quality code, adhere to best practices, and champion engineering excellence across the team.
• Collaborate effectively with other engineering teams and provide mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or possess equivalent industry experience.
• Bring a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in developing high-throughput distributed applications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in core Java and the Spring Framework.
• Be proficient in MySQL and possess familiarity with at least one NoSQL database.
• Exhibit proficiency in distributed system design, alongside familiarity with at least one messaging middleware and its underlying design principles.
• Be a quick learner with the proven ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Be capable of collaborating seamlessly with a remote team spanning various time zones.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with performance tuning on technologies such as JVM, SQL, and RPC.
• Previous experience in KYC or Compliance related fields is considered a significant advantage.
