About the Team

The Clutch team partners with Credit Units to develop customized software solutions that address their most critical business challenges. The Forward Deployed Engineering team is crucial for client success, ensuring products are deployed, configured, and optimized for each Credit Unit's unique environment. We seek highly skilled engineers who enjoy client engagement, complex problem-solving, and bringing innovative solutions to life. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure our products are technically sound and aligned with client goals and expectations.

What You'll Do

• Within 3 months, you will:
  • Become proficient with Clutch’s products, processes, deployment playbooks, and customer base.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our clients’ infrastructure, business objectives, and technical requirements.
  • Begin deploying and customizing solutions with both internal and external partners.
• Within 6 months, you will:
  • Independently lead deployments and integrations for our clients.
  • Efficiently troubleshoot and provide support for production environments.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted technical advisor for customers and key stakeholders.
• Within 9 months, you will:
  • Take ownership of large-scale deployments and complex rollouts, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with client objectives.
  • Provide structured and actionable feedback to the product and engineering teams based on customer interactions and needs.
  • Drive continuous improvements to deployment processes to enhance scalability and client satisfaction.

What You'll Bring

• 7 or more years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript across the full stack, including Node.js for backend development and React for frontend.
• Ability to use AI tools natively as an integral part of your engineering workflow.
• Proven experience working with leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Willingness and interest to travel up to 50% to client sites as required, with flexibility based on personal preferences.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and experience navigating complex production systems.
• Solid understanding of deployment, integration, and troubleshooting methodologies in production environments.
• Exceptional communication skills, adaptable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A proactive approach with a strong client-first mindset.
