Job Responsibilities

Governance & Policy

• Design, maintain, and iterate on platform content policies and community guidelines.
• Define moderation standards for crypto-specific content risk, including scams, market manipulation, misinformation, and harmful financial advice.
• Drive policy enforcement frameworks by balancing automation with AI review.

Moderation Operations

• Oversee day-to-day moderation operations, managing both internal teams and outsourced vendors.
• Optimize moderation workflows and quality assurance processes.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to enhance AI moderation tools, AI classifiers, and reporting systems.

Ecosystem Risk Management

• Monitor emerging threats and abuse patterns across the platform.
• Lead incident response for high-severity content violations and crisis scenarios, developing escalation protocols and cross-team coordination mechanisms.
• Align governance with global regulatory requirements by working with Legal, Compliance, and Policy teams.
• Represent Binance Square's governance philosophy to internal and external stakeholders, educating the creator community on policy changes.

Data & Reporting

• Define and track governance KPIs, such as moderation accuracy, turnaround time, user appeals, and ecosystem health trends.
• Produce regular transparency reports and insights for leadership.

Job Requirements

• 5-8+ years of experience in trust & safety, content moderation, or platform governance at a major internet or social platform.
• Deep understanding of crypto, blockchain, and Web3, including the ability to identify crypto-native risks and bad actors.
• Proven experience managing moderation teams and vendor relationships at scale.
• Strong policy-writing skills and the ability to make sound decisions under ambiguity.
• Data-driven mindset, comfortable utilizing dashboards, SQL, and operational metrics.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written, and maintain composure and decisiveness under pressure.
