The Know Your Customer (KYC) Technology Team at Binance is dedicated to developing an advanced platform to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for our users. Our primary focus includes building a large scale KYC platform, launching innovative products, and integrating with both regional and global compliance vendors. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust services, featuring solid code and comprehensive tests.
• Proactively identify opportunities for performance tuning, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve technical challenges efficiently.
• Create and maintain high quality technical documentation to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Develop high quality code, adhere to best practices, and champion engineering excellence across the team.
• Work collaboratively with other engineering teams and actively mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent professional experience in the industry.
• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on professional experience in developing high throughput, distributed applications.
• Demonstrated proficiency in core Java and extensive experience with the Spring Framework.
• Proficiency in MySQL, coupled with familiarity in at least one NoSQL database system.
• Strong proficiency in distributed system design principles, and familiarity with at least one messaging middleware and its underlying design.
• A quick learner with the proven ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Capable of collaborating seamlessly with remote team members across diverse time zones.
• Bilingual English and Mandarin proficiency is required to effectively coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in performance tuning for JVM, SQL, RPC, and related technologies.
• Previous experience in KYC or Compliance related fields is considered a significant advantage.
