This role is 100% remote and work from home based.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize high performance Android applications for risk control and identity verification products.
• Integrate and optimize on device AI models, deploying lightweight face recognition and liveness detection models that run locally on Android.
• Develop Android client side libraries and frameworks to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to build hybrid frameworks and on device inference pipelines.
• Implement user action recognition flows covering camera capture, on device preprocessing, and backend API calls.
• Handle video processing on Android, including real time frame processing and camera stream management.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building Android applications from scratch, with high proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience deploying on device or local AI models on Android, integrating lightweight machine learning models such as face recognition, liveness detection, and action recognition with optimized inference.
• Experience with video processing on Android, including camera capture, real time frame processing, and video stream handling.
• Familiarity with face recognition and computer vision product development, including face detection, liveness, and anti spoofing workflows.
• Proven Android development experience including architecture design, Jetpack, OkHttp, and related frameworks.
• Familiarity with cross platform technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript and React. Knowledge of C++ and JNI is a plus.
