Responsibilities

• Work closely with team members (Developers, Product Manager, and Partners) to develop, test, and deliver high-quality software products.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Prevent, collect, analyze, and track product defects.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts.
• Perform hands-on manual investigation and reproduction of functional Backend (Java) software issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis of existing test script failures.
• Identify current test script deficiencies and candidates for additional scripted coverage.
• Perform investigatory testing of unreleased features, including defining requirements, behavior, and impact.
• Document and design candidate test scenarios for the above.

Requirements

• At least 7-8 years experience in software testing methodologies, both Automation (Must have) & Manual (General).
• Strong ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Strong ability to handle Backend services such as APIs, Databases, and distributed services.
• Familiar with Linux and database operation: MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and test environment construction by CI/CD, Spring Boot.
• Strong programming: Master in Java coding (Must have).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and using collaboration tools, such as Jira, Trello, Slack, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal, consultative, and communication skills.
• Self-managed, proactive work style. Able to work independently within a team-centric environment.
