You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience as an iOS Developer.
• 2+ years of experience performing as a Senior iOS Developer, including leading technical decisions and owning feature delivery from inception to completion.
• Proven experience in proposing innovative technical solutions and effectively aligning business needs with scalable and maintainable architectural designs.
• Strong hands-on experience with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Combine frameworks.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and modern mobile architectures such as MVVM + Clean Architecture and Coordinators.
• Experience in refactoring codebases to improve scalability, maintainability, and overall performance.
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices and associated tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes for mobile applications (nice to have).
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to suggest improvements, share knowledge effectively, and contribute meaningfully to technical discussions.
• English proficiency is required to facilitate direct collaboration with US-based clients.

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and evolution of native iOS applications, ensuring strict adherence to Apple Human Interface Guidelines and industry best practices.
• Define and drive scalable, clean, and maintainable mobile architectures that are precisely aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate extensively with developers, designers, product managers, and various stakeholders to deliver high-value features and actively influence the product's strategic direction.
• Ensure high code quality through rigorous code reviews, comprehensive testing strategies, strategic refactoring, and thorough documentation.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and expertly resolve complex issues related to performance, stability, and scalability.
• Contribute actively to Agile ceremonies and support alignment on priorities, timelines, and technical execution.
• Evaluate and introduce new tools, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve development processes and team efficiency.
