Role Overview

Key Competencies & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
• Solid, hands-on experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including proficiency in Mule 4, DataWeave, and API-led connectivity principles.
• Strong background in building and maintaining RESTful APIs, developing RAML specifications, and working with SOAP services.
• Extensive experience with various integration patterns, microservices architectures, and advanced API security protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
• Proficiency in integrating systems using specialized connectors for platforms like Salesforce, SAP, various databases, and legacy systems.
• Familiarity with API Manager for effective application of security policies and comprehensive management of the API lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of deploying integrations across CloudHub, On-Premise, and Runtime Fabric environments.
• Experience with modern monitoring and observability tools, including Anypoint Monitoring, advanced logging, and alerting solutions.
• Proficiency in utilizing Anypoint Studio, Postman, and other related API development tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to design highly scalable, reusable, and maintainable integration solutions.
• Experience working within Agile development methodologies, including participation in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for effective teamwork with cross-functional teams.
• Advanced English proficiency is required, as the role involves collaboration with global and US-based stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate actively with Product Owners and Architects to effectively translate complex business requirements into scalable integration solutions.
• Design, develop, and deploy robust APIs and intricate integration flows leveraging the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Implement and rigorously enforce API security policies, ensuring adherence to best practices in API design and deployment throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in constructive code reviews, share valuable technical knowledge, and provide mentorship to junior developers when appropriate.
• Automate deployment processes and continuously monitor the health and performance of all integration solutions.
• Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to guarantee optimal system reliability and stability.
• Thoroughly document technical designs, integration flows, and deployment procedures across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Continuously contribute to process improvements and technical innovation within the dedicated integration team.
