You are a Quality Engineer with an analytical, curious, and context-driven mindset. You are passionate about modern testing approaches and collaborate closely with developers, Product teams, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

• Participate actively in sprint planning, quality discussions, and testing strategy sessions.
• Design and execute exploratory, context-driven, and session-based testing activities.
• Create test plans, coverage outlines, and comprehensive testing reports.
• Identify quality risks and concerns early in the development lifecycle.
• Execute testing sessions, investigate issues, and document findings effectively.
• Diagnose, prioritize, and report defects efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with developers and project stakeholders to continuously improve software quality.
• Promote continuous improvement of testing practices and quality processes.
• Contribute to building a strong quality culture across Agile teams.
• Continuously evolve your testing craft through modern quality engineering practices.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Experience supporting Agile development teams.
• Strong understanding of Context-Driven Testing principles.
• Experience applying Session-Based Testing methodologies.
• Experience building test strategies, test plans, and quality approaches.
• Experience performing API and database testing.
• Experience estimating testing efforts and identifying quality risks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to investigate, synthesize, and communicate technical findings clearly.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to Selenium, Playwright, Postman, or other automation tools.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity.
• Experience with heuristic-based testing approaches.
