Senior PeopleSoft HCM Consultant at Applaudo

About the Role

Applaudo is seeking a senior-level PeopleSoft HCM consultant with extensive hands-on delivery experience, capable of operating independently within complex enterprise environments. This role requires a consultative mindset, blending technical expertise with the ability to evaluate processes, identify opportunities for automation, and implement scalable solutions. You will be expected to communicate effectively with stakeholders and collaborate seamlessly across multiple teams in demanding settings.

Competencies You Bring to Applaudo

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Senior-level experience as a PeopleSoft HCM consultant with robust hands-on delivery.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing automation within PeopleSoft environments.
• Strong expertise in key PeopleSoft HCM modules, including Payroll, Health & Welfare, and Benefits.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleTools, encompassing Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, PeopleCode, PS Query, Approval Framework, Process Scheduler, and SQR.
• Ability to identify and recommend automation opportunities leveraging native PeopleSoft capabilities.
• Experience working independently in complex, enterprise-level environments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage directly with stakeholders and clients.
• Experience working in consulting or multi-stakeholder delivery models.
• Prior experience supporting large enterprise or regulated environments.
• PeopleSoft HCM and/or PeopleTools certifications (considered a plus).
• Fluent English is a mandatory requirement due to extensive collaboration and potential client interaction.

• Review and analyze existing PeopleSoft HCM business processes.
• Identify and recommend strategic automation approaches using native PeopleSoft functionality.
• Define automation requirements and provide support for effort estimation and complexity sizing.
• Design and implement PeopleSoft configurations and custom development solutions.
• Deliver comprehensive automation solutions across various HCM process areas.
• Support testing activities, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects efficiently.
• Actively participate in team meetings and collaborate effectively with client stakeholders.
